The KN95 mask is the most common of the seven types of particulate filter masks. The product filters at least 95% of air particles, but is not resistant to oil. Even if you can't see the particles, use a KN95 mask, as they may be too small to see. N95 masks do not protect you from chemical vapors, gases, carbon monoxide, gasoline, asbestos, lead, or low oxygen environments. You should only use N95 masks certified by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
